   Hey Avril and the team. Good luck in the race, i’m sure the nerves are coming on now with a few days to go. Give it your all. Nothing but 8 days and 30,000 cals between you and the finish. Keep and eye out for my texas pals on team HART/Marmot.

   I was watching you from the staelitte view yesterday (wednesday). It was the biking section before you got to the river which was closed. As I zoomed in to the lowest level of the satelite. You had pulled into 3 large buildings right before a 90 degree turn. I saw Avril with a Starbucks Venti no fat vanilla soy milk latte. I think Joe was doing his business behind the store (I guess the other guys were hogging the bathrooms.

   The Starbucks probably is what has propelled you into 9th place! I am proud of you guys. I can only imagine.

   Keep the faith—lean on one another, you are stronger as a team than you are alone.
